What we collect

  • Your first name and email when you submit the registration form.
  • Limited campaign attribution: approved UTM values, landing-page variant, and the referring site’s hostname—not its full URL or query string.
  • Your analytics preference, stored in your browser.
  • Basic operational logs such as a request identifier, outcome category, latency, and upstream status. These logs are designed not to contain your email or form payload.

Why we use it

We use contact details to request double opt-in, complete registration for the September 2 class, send online access and class reminders, and share occasional related Tai Chi offerings. Attribution helps compare campaign concepts.

Email confirmation and unsubscribe

If you are new to the list, submitting the form creates a pending request in Mailchimp. Your registration is complete after you click the confirmation link Mailchimp sends. If you already have a confirmed subscription, the class registration tag is added without restarting confirmation. Every marketing message must include an unsubscribe option. We do not silently restore contacts who previously unsubscribed or whose address Mailchimp marked as cleaned.

Service providers

  • Netlify hosts the site and registration function.
  • Mailchimp manages pending and confirmed email subscriptions.
  • Meta receives browser analytics only after you choose “Accept analytics.”

Optional analytics

Meta Pixel is nonessential. It is not loaded until you accept analytics. If enabled, it can record a page view, landing-page view, and an accepted form submission. It does not establish that you confirmed your email, and we do not send health responses because the form does not collect them. Choosing “Continue without analytics” does not affect registration.

Retention, deletion, and international visitors

Contact and attribution data should be kept only as long as needed for this class launch, related permitted communication, legal obligations, and suppression records. You may request access or deletion through the privacy contact above, subject to records that must be retained. Although initial promotion is intended for the United States, people elsewhere may reach the site. Targeting visitors outside the U.S. may require additional legal review and controls.

Changes

We may revise this notice as the service configuration or launch jurisdictions change. The updated date at the top will show when this page changes.
